I hope you are enjoying the holidays. My question is about KBLs and something I've noticed with them. I don't know if it's the lack of Seme/uke dynamic but something just makes must of their bls come off as really queer in a way that Thailand often struggles with. It's hard to pinpoint what it is that sometimes makes them feel really honest and raw.... I don't know if I am making sense but the feeling is just there, maybe it's the bubble Korea uses which allows them to explore queer romance in a way that seems normal and accepted.
What do you think about this observation? Do you think it's real? And what makes it so?

I loved your beautiful ode to A Beautiful Man. (Even as someone pretty new to BL and unfamiliar with Yaoi I felt the power of that show.)
I agree with you it has a lot to do with the dynamic (not much seme/uke) but also they moved really quickly outside of a school setting and that makes a difference too.
(Although I'd argue nothing prior them has felt as authentically queer as The New Employee does right now. It's remarkable.)
