I’ve been thinking recently that I will never be able to thank the S/T fandom enough for teaching me how to bundle up canon, throw it out of the freaking window, and blissfully ignore it for the rest of time.

I don’t know where I’d be in my other fandoms if I hadn’t been taught from a young age that canon only has to matter if I want it to. Seriously y’all, thank you so much. Especially @piperholmes and @yankeecountess. I owe you both an immense debt for this alone.
