Here's my design for the ink Demon and bendy for a batim/batdr au called the broken cycle

In this au the ink Demon and bendy are separate entities and they have a father and son dynamic

The Broken Cycle

So basically a young, bright eyed hero is picked to save the world, The hero goes through battles and trials in which they almost die on several occasions, lose comrades and potentially loved ones and then he/she saves the day and people lavish them with praise. All seems right for now, the people are free from the tyrant, all seems well in the realms the era of peace could finally reign.

Decades later a new villain rises and a new chosen one is picked. A new bright eyed hero goes to fight the villain. They had heard legends of how wonderful and peaceful it all was before the villain rose and conquered the realm. They would save the world and defeat the grand evil.

They bested the generals, and fought hard to reach the villains lair. They had lost much, and strove to put an end to this madness. But as the hero enters the throne room they see that the previous chosen is the one responsible. The one that they were told legends about, the one that they wanted to be like, the hero that inspired them every step of the way. The young hero asks in anger why they are doing this? Why they are trying to destroy the place they once saved. The former Chosen says nothing, they remembered this feeling. They knew exactly how the young hero was feeling. They had done this before. The hero now villain only shakes their head. They can recall the feelings of anger the villain felt, how they were once loved by the kingdom only to be cast aside, how once they weren't a hero, they didn't care about their well being. They were tossed aside like garbage. Their visage used to inspire while they had been left broken, scarred by the years of battle, no one willing to help them, unable to go back to the life they once lived. It broke them. If the realm turned its back on its hero, then the hero will turn its back on the realm.

“I finally get it now.” They laugh darkly.

There is an epic battle with the hero pulling out all the stops. The villain did this song and dance before, it was practically step for step how they fought the evil villain of their time.

“So this is how they felt” The villain commented, more to himself then the hero.

The hero is fighting with everything. The magical weapon that they were given doing damage against the villain where other spells could not.

The villain knew this was the end. But this time, they were not going to let the same thing happen to this innocent child.

They would use the last of their power, they sent the hero away, to another world. To a place that knew peace, one without monsters, without heroes, without villains. one where they can heal when he could not.

The villain laughed as their body began fading, this was their end.

“No more monsters...

The Broken Cycle

Rating: M, 74k+words, Pairing: Link/Ganondorf

Summary: Link is twenty. He slips and falls into the backwards realm of Termina. It makes him remember how homesick he really is. He's traveled enough. He wants to go home to Hyrule after seeing the horrors of the land once more. He meets Ganondorfs so-called 'double' and gets entirely more that he bargained for. Returning to Hyrule is harder than either anticipated.
