He's LITERALLY ME

He was a player, a charmer of men and women alike. A man of fine tastes, he wasn’t satisfied with the little simple pleasures of life. Grandeur, splendor and decadence were the words anyone who were barely acquainted with him would say. Money runs the world, as the saying goes, and he was the prime example of it. Money fueled the power he had on people, as well as his own power and desires. If indulgence was a sin, he’d go straight to hell.
He was a killer, a ruthless weapon in the form of a human. Driven purely by the need to survive and thrive in the cold, cruel world that constantly tried to kick him down. But he wasn’t completely emotionless, he yearned for the approval of his mentor, a man with darkness rivaling only a moonless night. Alas, soon he would learn that certain things are futile to wish for. Nonetheless, he still seeks out the impossible, continuing to destroy everything, including him, on his quest for validation.
Their first meeting was on opposite sides of the battle. Acknowledging the fighting prowess of each other, they clashed with nothing holding them back. After that, they met under more relaxed conditions, hoping to learn more of each other while feeling weirdly drawn to the other.
Both of them knew they were vastly different from each other. Both of them knew that they came from different worlds. Both of them knew that they were powerful and revered in their own worlds.
But together, both of them felt something in common, a shared thirst for life, through different ways and different reasons. And that’s all it took for them to feel humane and bond over. And perhaps this bond can help them fill their endless and impossible desires.
“The pride of man makes him love to domineer, and nothing mortifies him so much as to be obliged to condescend to persuade his inferiors. Wherever the law allows it, and the nature of the work can afford it, therefore, he will generally prefer the service of slaves to that of freemen."
- Adam Smith, The Wealth of Nations. Book III, Chapter 2, Para. 10.

When it comes to confidence in oneself and self-esteem, no one can beat @fitzgeraldsuggestions! Although this wanders off to egotistical asshole territory at times, but I can forgive him for it
Now that I think of it...alcohol isn’t so bad...as long as you don’t get as drunk as a certain adult who mistook a person for a plant and doused them in alcohol *I sip my tea, while side-glancing at @fitzgeraldsuggestions *
