[11 digitally sketched panels]

[Panel 1: The corner of a metal door, with the chewed-on baseboard trim of the wall and a carpet on the floor leading off into the distance. Locksmith says from off screen, "This is where I leave you for today, The Jack."]

[Panel 2: The full metal door. It is heavy duty, with three bars on the right side to seal it. A hanging sign on it reads "Jack's Room."]

[Panel 3: Locksmith, looking displeased, and The Jack, frowning in discomfort. Locksmith says, "… I'd say a new door was in order, but soon, this will all be in the past. The Jack responds, "… Right…"]

[Panel 4: The Jack notices something sticking out of the door frame by the handle and goes, "Hm?"]

[Panel 5: The Jack's hand pulling the card from the frame. It has a ornate design on one side (the same pattern used on the Becile Bots' desktop blog background). Locksmith asks from off screen, "Oh? What is that? A piece of scrap paper?"

[Panel 6: The Jack looks down at the card in his hand and says, "It's a playing card. From Hare's favorite deck."]

[Panel 7: We see the face of the card-- The Jack of Diamonds. Locksmith's hand reaches for it as he says, "Ah, well-- We don't need to pay any mind to him--"]

[Panel 8: The Jack holds the card to his chest and turns away from Locksmith sharply, surprising Locksmith.]

[Panel 9: The Jack removes his hat and places the card in its brim, while Locksmith looks on in disgust. The Jack says, I'll keep it for now, thank you." Locksmith grumbles, … Very well. I will speak with you later, regarding the plans."]

[Panel 10: The Jack puts his hat back on, displaying the 'J' on the card prominently. He says, "… Hm."]

[Panel 11: Exterior shot of the attic and the smokestacks on the roof of Becile Manor, focusing on the round attic window. The Jack wonders off screen, "Where is Hare?" End ID]
