I wouldn't say its too hard to figure out what is happening, as thats still Stan's conscious moving around, the real question becomes if the curse travels with Stan's soul or not. If not, then Stan is now in whoever's body being himself while the other person freaks out about being a plush. If it does, then Stan is just a slightly different plush while the other person is now Stan.

Either way, Ford is having a break down about his actions.
