Crap... every time I think I’m getting close to wrapping up this chapter, I get a new idea that needs to be explored. This thing is going to be longer than my first two chapters combined... But I guess that makes sense for the period of time I’m covering in it. There’s really no other way to break it down... UGH!

I can’t complain that much... this is an improvement over staring at a wall for bloody weeks on end. I feel good about my words right now. After deleting 5k words of stuff I hated, I’m now back up to 6.5k words of stuff I’m contented with. And maybe 3-4 words I’m proud of. I *think* I *might* be 3/4 done now? 3/5? And then I can go back and make it look pretty (my favorite part)!

I really need to just finish this chapter and get it out there. (He said while taking a moment to procrastinate and whine about it)

Half-way done, maybe? At least 1/3 done... There are some words I’m already feeling proud of in here. Then there’s the stuff I know I will need to go back and edit until it looks pretty. The stuff I still have in my head needs to get out onto the page. Somehow. It just looks so much better in my head. *sigh* Excitement mixes with fear as the scene I’ve been waiting for starts to come into focus on the horizon.

Okay, after a few hours of wrangling, I think I’ve got a handle on this thing. Finally. The end might actually be in sight!
