I stand dying on the hill that if Cody and Obi-Wan were left alone in the chacellor's office for like 5 minutes without supervision would end the war. Obi-wan is nosy enough because Qui-Gon taught him (indirectly) to always search an area for either weapons or escape routes so you don't have to blow up everything to get out. Cody is tactical enough to find all the blind spots of the cameras to aid his General while also tapping into the system to get them a smidge more time for the funsies.
Windu is off in the middle of a meeting with his men and feeling the Force go, "Hey, so, you may want to be ready for a recall from Yoda. Also dw I got your lil commander, I need him for something"
Chancellor Palpatine is currently walking in to his office to find a blaster pointing to him and a lightsabre lit up the area.
