How would you feel being in labor next to a partner in the midst of the night, trying again and again to wake them up and beg them to take you to the hospital or at least to help you give birth and they tell you to quiet down bc they're trying to sleep? <3 you start sobbing and begging for help or medical attention and they tell you again, harsher this time, that they're trying to sleep and to keep your voice down? <333 they wake up next to you in the morning and you're shaking, crying, hurting, and still just as pregnant as you were before they fell asleep either bc you refused to give birth without them, or you tried your very best but just couldn't do it quietly? <333333

I wouldn't give birth without permission, so them sleeping would mean I'm not allowed to ... I'd just cry into my pillow, groaning and whining quietly as I feel the baby opening me, moving down, making my body ache everywhere ... I'd be a mess in the morning, begging them for help as soon as they open their eyes ...
