Playing through the Clockwork Mansion for the first time. Everyone’s warning ahead of time was like:
“It is very complicated to navigate the rooms that rearrange themselves.” I figured out the Sokolov cell in like 2 minutes and the route to the Lab in like 5 minutes.
“If Jindosh knows you’re there, it is really hard to beat him and his two clockwork soldiers.” He spotted me instantly, but I tranqed him and then bashed the clockwork soldiers over the head a few times and succeeded in one try and about 45 seconds.
What they did not warn me about. I knew there was a electrical shock device in this lab somewhere. I ran around the room for like twenty minutes looking for the chair and didn’t see anything. The quest marker kept showing me the center of the room, so I put Jindosh in the center of the room. I immediately got the power levels figured out so that I could pull the electrical shock device’s lever. Nothing happens to Jindosh. I pull it a couple more times and nothing. I go running around everything that could conceivably be called part of the lab for another twenty minutes and don’t see anything. Then I decided that maybe I have to lay him up against the Tesla Coil looking think that keeps going zap when I pull the lever. I pick up Jindosh from the middle of the floor. Turn around to put him next to the Tesla Coil and then I see (right next to where I was standing the whole time I was pulling the lever over and over) a chair. The chair.
Complicated puzzle that everyone thinks of as the difficult part of the mission and “boss battle”: 7mins 45secs.
Finding a fucking chair that I am standing right next to: Approximately 45mins.
