The Force Awakens, Making Me Feel all the Feels | The Comlink Is Back + A Scary Nerd Block

With 112 million online views within the first 24 hrs, the new trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, had people in tears, with goosebumps and at least for me, forgetting to breathe through the whole thing. So after 20+ views and 2 hours getting opening night tickets online, I was surprised I hadn't passed out. Now, if you haven't seen it yet, just go...go right now, you shouldn't even be looking at this page. Seriously, do yourself a favor, even if you're not into it, watch it here. You're welcome!

However, if you've watched it over and over and over again, since it aired last week during Monday Night Football, and still get all the feels, you clearly need to get more Star Wars in your life. A really fantastic way to do that would be to follow, subscribe and watch The Comlink

What's The Comlink you ask, it's an amazing weekly YouTube series that focuses on all you need for Star Wars news, interviews, and more. With the movie coming soon, so soon we can already smell the popcorn and candy we'll be spilling all over every theater we can get into, it's refreshing to see The Comlink back in action. They debuted their show and new format after taking a little break, and it was filled with all the Star Wars content we've been craving. David Collins and Amy Ratcliffe discuss Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars Battlefront and Disney's Star Wars Infinity...(want...so...much.) Even just as exciting, is Ruark, their amazingly awesome Booth Director. He's featured a few times throughout the show, rockin' my very own "Control the Galaxy" Baseball Tee. So if you haven't seen this series yet, you must. Start with their newest episode below (keep an eye out for the shirt around 6 mins in.)

On to the Nerd Block! Alien's, Zombies, Gremlins...oh my, it's all in this October's Classic Nerd Block. So let's take a look at all the fun stuff inside.

Don't feed them after midnight and don't tell me it took you 20 years to finally see this movie, like it did me. Don't worry, it's now on my list of one of the best Christmas movies out there, yes a Christmas movie, just like Die Hard. The story takes place on Christmas or around the jolly holiday, so therefore in my world...it's a Christmas movie. This though...one of my favorites by far. Those designers at ShirtPunch never let me down.

If you know me well, you know my #1 fear in life is Zombies. Deathly afraid of Zombies. The whole concept people returning from the dead and feeding on living human beings...I just really feel like it could happen, people...and it scares me. Thank god I've had enough dreams of being chased by Zombies and successfully escaping, that I'm not too concerned if I can survive a Zombie apocalypse...especially now that I have these. Legit, Zombie Hunter Dog Tags. Zombie Emergency Response Operations: Z-E-R-O. Legit. It's all about being prepared and knowing who's...alive?! #1 Rule: Shoot 'em in the head and they'll stay dead.

I discussed a few weeks ago when I released my "Don't Rescue Me" shirt, that one of my childhood heroine's was Ripley from Alien. So I was super excited to get a vinyl 2-pack of Ripley and Big Chap. Would've been a lot more scary if it was just Big Chap, but I'm good since I've got Ripley around. "Listen to me! Hudson, just deal with it, because we need you and I'm sick of your bull#$%@." One of my favorite lines.

Also in this block of tricks and treats is a Bob's Burger Mad Libs, which will be put to good use the next few days while traveling. Since this blog post is coming to you via an airport. Need something to do on the plane, might as well be some inappropriate Mad Libs. More reading material for the flight includes a the First Annual Jem and the Holograms Comic. Such a totally awesome reboot. I love comic artists and there's several talented ones featured in this one. Traveling can be fun with the right material, but I can't wait to get back home and set my mug on his unsightly mug. That's right, it's a Moe coaster. Better than a prank call...am I right, Ben?! Ben...Dover.
