The Devoured (RPG idea)
Classes:
Parasite: psionic mage
Survivor: fighter (melee and ranged)
Green-cross: healer and diplomat
Gutrat: thief
Mechanic: builder
The Aged-Phase 2
-The second stage of the devoured, the Aged are significantly more powerful and evolved compared to the fresh in almost every way. During this stage the Devoureds magical core begins its “building” phase and begins to change the feeding habits of the devoured. The chances of a fresh actually transforming into an aged are less than 40%.
Hunting Method
-The age’s main instinct is now to grow bigger and more powerful so it will often hunt alone, but it is smart enough that when faced with a large group or big game it will team up with other aged or command a pack of fresh.
Feeding habits
-in addition to magic, its new instincts force it to eat its victims bones as well, non-EnChants are now more likely to be attacked as well as EnChants.
Relationship with other Devoured
-The aged will hunt with other aged or a pack of fresh under specific circumstances, but will turn on them if it believes it is not getting enough of the prey for itself. The aged does not fear the Fresh but it does fear the Ripe and often flees at the sight of one.

The Ripe-Phase 3
-The Ripe is the most powerful and aggressive form of the devoured. During this stage the magical core now focuses on killing and eating anything that has magic in it to add to its on strength. Less than 15% of devoured actually make it to this stage and as such the Ripe is a rare beast not often seen.
Hunting Method
-The Ripe relinquishes any form of tactical thinking the aged once had for pure strength and aggression, the ripe needs not to evade for very few things can actually hurt it, often hunting alone the ripe is far faster and stealthier than you’d believe it to be.
Feeding habits
-It devours magic, meat and bone, which means it not only attacks non-EnChants and Enchants it also attacks other devoured if needed.
Relationship with other Devoured
-The Ripe hunts and feeds on all other forms of Devoured, as such almost all flee at sight of it, the only one that doesnt are other Ripe’s, a Ripe will immediately attack another Ripe on sight, perhaps in a show of dominance to the other Devoured who wait to attack the loser.

The Fresh-Phase 1
-As the earliest form, the Fresh are the weakest, slowest and least intelligent of the Devoureds forms. The Fresh’s once human body sheds anything its magical core considers unnecessary for the its need to hunt and consume magic (fat, pinkies, reproductive organs etc.). 70% of the devoured have been infected by the fresh as the fresh are the most likely to actually leave enough of the body intact to be transformed.
Hunting Method
-The fresh lack any enhanced strength or speed but make up for it in numbers, often traveling in packs the fresh’s main form of attack is swarming and overwhelming the prey.
Feeding habits
-Primarily magic, consumed through the victims mouth. Will attack humans if they stand between them and a magical source or if the fresh cannot tell whom within a large group of people holds magic.
Relationship with other Devoured
-The Fresh pick up any lone devoured or join any larger group of fresh it encounters. Will skitter and flee once an aged or ripe shows any signs of hostility towards them but will follow an aged or a ripes instructions if no ill intent is shown towards them.
