david convinced carrie to help him make a firework with some magic innit, essentially explode and make a gif of davids face winking in the air, half worked, the face looked normal in the air till it started melting and gave the town children nightmares.ben unfortunately was not immune to the shenanigans, carrie and david had used the bath tub to create the magic fireworks and hadn’t told ben, so when he went to take a bath he came out glowing multiple colors for a week

#also did you ever go in depth with Ben’s powers?#I didn’t know about the impenetrable skin but I’m glad I do now hmm I dont remember either lmao, so as a refresher he’s p much magical super boy from yj lmao, all enchants can technically do what he does subconsciously which is like inner magic where magic goes thru their muscles so they can take more hits and and be stronger and faster etc., but only a little better than humans, ben is unique because his levels of magic are at an insane level and its constantly on so he had to learn to turn it off so he doesnt crush things etc lmao he’s still at a disadvantage against other enchants so his main form of fighting is pretty much one of those anime beast modes yknow lmao, though to be fair based it more of cass cain, he can sense where and what to break efficiently and flawlessly to take down his opponent, problem is like anime he cant control it so he’s gonna go for the kill shot haha (he calls it dissonance)

Who is the island's biggest Soap Opera enthusiast?

hmm tough question since I myself dont watch much of it haha, but highschool soap opera stuff is definitely something david watched a lot lmao, alex watches them too more for analyzing them i suppose, but as for the biggest enthusiast hmm probably the old light house lady in the lighthouse at the outskirts of the island, she doesnt have much else to do lmao

bastard man I would trade for one cornchip lmaohe thinks of himself and wants other to revere him because he thinks he’s been tasked with a holy mission, definitely scary and yet people are drawn to him because he knows how to balance that line between fear and reverence. Also thinks he’s magneto for his people, but he’s actually dying and he cant leave the fog of his side of the island or risking starving so deep down he knows he’d sacrifice all his followers if it meant he could use their bones to build a bridge out of the fog.

also been alive way too long, has no idea how technology works which is fine since he’s obsessed with the old ways of his people, doesn’t know what a “me-me” is though idk why thats important but it is

What would be considered a "normal" day for the kiddos in Fog's Edge

ben usually wakes up first and wakes the other two up, knocks on davids door to wake him, has to like pry carrie out of bed because she obviously didnt go to bed early.

navigate the usual highschool life the usual, either hang out at the arcades food court or they go “train” (i.e they go to the town dump and pretty much go wild with their powers theyll eventually learn…something, even if its just that ben can survive falling off a mountain of garbage and then stink for a while).

then after about when the afternoon is over they do their sneaky stuff, sometimes its break into the school to try and find secret entrances to hidden places get info on the towns, sometimes they use the info theyve acquired to go to other places on the island that have been marked as interesting (a clearing in the forest where weird things have been seen, roaming packs shadows at the outskirts of town etc.).

then when they get home they have a meeting to compare notes which is actually just carrie ranting about what ever conspiracy theory she has based of their new evidence and david and ben not taking it that seriously because its almost usually way out there, usually at least

and thats their day

other things that happens usually on the reg but at different times:

ben looks at the camera, usually in exhaustion

David lets you know how rich he is, and still questions why he isnt popular

Carrie accuses someone of being a vampire

lmao yeah, they all received keys to an apartment from an anonymous sender(idk an apartment with multiple rooms lmao or might make it just a house in general :P), apartments p run down though but the owner doesnt ask questions, which works since ben and carrie are newer arrivals to the town and have no homes there, david isnt really under any obligation but his dad is never at their mansion anyway and never really asks where david is or is sleeping lmaooo
