Did siffrin see loop at the end? And did they remember the loop or does only loop remember loop's loops?

well, from what we can see from two hats, it seems to be that siffrin does remember loop looping back- so theoretically, siffrin could remember.

on the other hand...

As for whether or not Siffrin saw Loop, well... who knows, right? maybe they did.

there are a lot of details i'd love to talk about, but i can't think of all of them at once, so i'll go for this one right there!

is a direct mirror to this one at the very end of ACT 4.

( funnily enough, i didn't mean to at first, but i realized it after doing the layout for all the pages and coming back to this one as i was staring at the ISAT script project, that it was almost a one to one recreation of this part. so, i tweaked it to mirror it... and there we go. :3)

okay so. i was making each batch of six pages on the same shared canvas. and looking at my layer tree for this last batch, there's at least a little over 230 layers. considering that renamed layers aren't counted in this, there's probably over 250 to 300 layers for 6 pages.

as for doodles................... OH BOY- HERE'S A COMPILATION OF A LOT OF DOODLES I MADE DURING THE COMIC TO STAY SANE:

Okay so. For context, the way I worked on this comic is that I made the base canvas for it, and I'd work in batches of six on the pages. Then once done, I'd "Save As " a new file, delete the previous pages in this new file, and draw the next batch.

Midway through the comic, the file started to become pretty laggy, but I figured it was just because I was batching six pages in one file, and that I was using a lot of layers.

Then it got even slower to save the more it went on.

I figured out, on the last batch of pages, that Clip Studio Paint had been saving a timelapse of my process. And because of the method I used- It had been saving the timelapse of every page until then.

Naturally I then fought to finish the comic to have the full timelapse dsfkljdlfhsdfgh-

The last file of the comic with the last six pages + the speedpaint ended up at a whopping 6.68 GB. Note that, once I exported the timelapse and deleted the save within the file itself, that same file ended up being 82 MB.

Big difference!

For the Q&A: Are there any details you feel got missed/won't be easily noticed? Alternatively: How much fun did you have torturing Loop?

Details that could easily be missed... Well, for one, I did my best to have the number of sparkles be accurate to canon.

There's also the star fragment that granted Loop's wish being hidden at the top of this page.

Loop's embarassement and the hope to loop back here- ( i'll give you three guesses as to why they didn't actually loop back.)

And some of Isabeau's wish ideas ( notably about not needing to get smarter, or wanting to get fresh flowers...)

Alternatively? I had a lot of fun putting Loop through all of that. ( I feel sorry but at the same time -shoves them in more soul-crushing situations- )

Do you have a favorite page? One that turned out the best or one that was the most fun to work on?

Favorite page... I think, considering a page in its entirety... This one was over all very fun to do!

I loved drawing Isabeau's panic here, making all the bubbles with the different wish ideas, hiding little things in there ( like the million ponies thing, or the fact he doesn't want to wish to get smarter, or that he'd enjoy fresh flowers ). The way Loop plays their role by asking the obvious question ( what about Vaugarde? ) I also like the composition of the second panel a lot. The hidden face as he weakly tries to justify why he'd like to make a wish for himself, for once.

( is it so bad, to want to make a wish for yourself as what feels like your second-to-last day on earth? )
