i think i need to relax bc in my mind i’ll be making a marxist critique of the fanzine in the form of a fanzine and then on the page its a comic where characters from the tv show community all get bitten by vampires
the original concept for The Draculas involved (and possibly still involves) TV louis (an example of a truly superior transformative, albeit legal, adaptation of a character that has had free adaptations historically censored by his original author) waking up from nightmares about fan characters for other media trapped in hell by copyright.
i wondered if i could thread that needle in as few panels as possible and wound up with this (possibly batshit) sequence i am nonetheless somewhat thrilled by. THE DRACULA IS AWAKE!
I kept having this vision of @bunnydracula s bunny forever as Leda and the Swan but the Swan is a fruit bat and I kept trying to make it a proper drawing and failing so I did a pen doodle on a prescription pad
