And that's a wrap!
I hope everyone enjoyed the comic! Let me know what you think, criticism is very much welcome!
So, I reckon this is the best page to talk about what prompted the creation of this comic in the first place. Simply put: Blizzard themselves. It is already clear that they have no idea what to do with the angels in general, but it is especially painfully clear that they have no idea what to do with Itherael specifically. They regularly forget about him, such as not putting him in Heroes of the Storm, or hell, even in a goddamn artbook (yeah, imagine that, every other archangel is in "The Art of Diablo III", it's ridiculous).
And this sucks, because Itherael, Archangel of Fate, could be so interesting, if they just give a little bit of thought to him! I'm sure I could come up with something great, and I'm just a no-name schmuck on the internet. Maybe you should start hiring based on MERIT again instead of dumbfuck checkboxes, huh, Blizzard?!
So ultimately, that gave me the idea for this story where Malthael struggles to adapt to their newest addition to the team. Hell, it might even come up in That First Spark or some other spinoff eventually. :3 Who knowwws...
So once again! Thank you for reading! See you next time here!

You don't even know yet just how much that little discovery would "complicate" things, Mal... Goddamn.

When the High Heavens were still young and the Eternal Conflict had yet to truly take place, there had been four Archangels - Malthael as Wisdom, Auriel as Hope, Tyrael as Justice and the youngest, Imperius as Valor. All was in balance, and all was good. That is, until the Crystal Arch itself disrupts it all, by unexpectedly giving birth to a fifth.
