im trying to figure out how to draw the echos/esperas without making them straight up the esperas but also keeping them looking somewhat like them?

first of all we have Evaline, Erie, & Elanor (not the actual esperas names obviously. because im ✨OC-ifying✨ them) it is in order btw.

i did “try” to draw them how i remember them. ive seen some photos of them on their insta. but i have bad memory, and wanted to see if i could make my own renditions just from the foggy memory)

The Echos

The  Echos are a race of beings that are created not through sex but through power itself. When a person or god commits such a powerful injustice in the world the World herself steps up to the plate.

Harnessing all the power that was thrown into the ether the World gathers it all into a mass so bright the the sun and stars themselves weaken for just a moment.

Then a babe appears.

On doorsteps, in bassinets, on forest floors. Anywhere that has not be scarred by the deeds of those looking for glory and blood.

Echos act and feel no different than human children. They grow and live life just as they do. The only difference in their heart.

As the Echos begin to grow closer and closer to the beings around them their dreams start to shift. At first it’s nothing more than the images of the lives of their loved ones. A moment of deja vu that is easy enough to brush off as nothing.

Then slowly bruises start to appear.

Corresponding with the dreams it was something that most questioned but still brushed off as nothing. Bruises appeared and dreams came and went.

For most Echos that was all that ever happened. But some... Some weren’t as lucky.

They let beings that had been hurt and broken by the world into their hearts and the world took it out on their skin. All the wounds that had ever been held by the Echos loved ones appeared on their bodies one by one.

Bullet wounds, cigarette burns, broken bones. Every hurt that had ever happened came to be on the Echos body. The only blessing was that the wounds healed quickly enough that they weren’t able to kill them.

There was also no way around it.

A handful of Echos had learned about their power in the past and tried to find a way around it, but it never ended with any answers.

At least none that Aria could find.
