YEY! I’ve wanted to record a speedpaint for a while now, but I didn’t really have the motivation; I mean, I still don’t really, but I did it anyways lol. 

The vid’s basically a really sped-up recording of my shading process for a full-scale picture. I don’t actually draw Ryth that much anymore, but I picked an older picture of him I did last December because I didn’t feel like sketching, lining, and base coloring a whole new drawing, hahah~

Been watching Kim’s Pokemon trading card shenanigans, and it urged me to finally open the Nintendo 3ds I got last Xmas that I’ve never even touched and buy Pokemon Y. I’m now addicted to it. Honestly the most important things to me are checking all the clothing stores every day and watering/de-weeding my berry farm even though I never use berries. Yeah I guess leveling my Pokemon comes with that. 

Anyways, was thinking about some old Pokemon episodes and remembered Shuppet; I thought Rythian would get along well with one, considering one of the game descriptions is:

“ Shuppet grows by feeding on dark emotions, such as vengefulness and envy, in the hearts of people. It roams through cities in search of grudges that taint people. “

Plus I mean it’s really cute and looks like a little ghost that follows you around.

Another clone Rythian drawing....whenever his ender acid orbs aren’t enough to fix his melting skin, he has to soak in the acid - and being a magnificent blood mage, he has a cool, mystical cavern under his base where he can do just that (I do imagine he has his own base somewhere). However, if the melting is too extensive and the acid is ineffective, he does have to pay a visit to Lalnable for repairs, which he hates because dammit, he’s a grown clone and he can take care of himself (except not really).

Also his core life energy is an active ender crystal; Lalnable found a way to harness the life source that would originally provide health to the Ender Dragon; placing it inside a clone gives it the same life force.

And differences to note between clone Rythian and the original: 

- Smaller, thinner form

- More slanted eyes 

- Longer hair that spikes out at the ends

- Lighter skin

I will now go play Block Party for like three hours, goodbye

Whooh...finally finished this! Yep, I’m hopping on the evil clone Rythian (Naihtyr) bandwagon because hey why not? Really proud of this one, especially the hair for some reason...

In my mind, clone Rythian has a bit of a skin problem, because Lalnable (being a Lalna) messed up the acidity level in his liquid testing chamber, so at times the clone’s skin melts in some places. That’s why he carries around a pouch of little orbs filled with ender acid (which I found is an actual MC thing) that he can rub on the wounds to make the acidity level return to normal and the skin to close back up. 

He also prefers to use blood orbs for self sacrifice instead of the sacrificial knife, mostly because the colors of said knife are incredibly tacky and why mess up his badass blood mage look with bright orange and blue? Lastly, that’s a shard of ender crystal around his neck, and runes from said crystals on the inside of his cape, lol. Didn’t feel like drawing him with his mouth covered either, so I might do that later.

Now that that’s done, Imma go play Aveyond for like three hours straight...

I was thinking maybe during the holidays in Tekkit, Rythian and Lalna would have a nice, peaceful truce drinking hot chocolate at Ravs’ bar...

Nah, probably not. At least not without bringing deadly weapons to the bright, cheerful occasion. I’ll let you decide what pressing the button on Lalna’s controller would do; whatever it is, it’d probably spell danger for Rythian, hah~

Also this took fucking forever holy crap. I hate backgrounds.

It’s December and that means winter Yogs! Well technically winter doesn’t start until later this month, but who needs technicalities when you have hot chocolate and fuzzy sweaters?

This was also really really fun, especially the fluff at the bottom of the jacket. I stole the ender scarf from one of my older drawings, but whatever, lol. Can’t wait to bundle up with some steaming ramen and watch all the streams~

I finally finished this and it took forever ;u;

A few weeks ago when I was on my old computer I realized that when I usually drew Rythian he was wearing either one of his Tekkit skins from the first two seasons, or random clothes that I came up with. So I decided to take his most recent Minecraft skin and attempt to draw him in it; pretty happy with the result to be fair.

Also it gave me a chance to take the new Minecraft snapshot blocks and make something out of them; the staff is made of End rod and the accents are made of purpur block. The runes in the circle and on the leather straps are from the ender crystals in The End; the shards hanging from the staff are also ender crystal, though they aren’t really new to the game.

So yeah, I’m really proud of this one.
