I wanted to change Bug's design for a long time cuz I really did not like how it looked before. Now Bug looks more elegant and lucksherry so to speak, and doesn't stand out from ordinary mechanisms while still looking beautiful. After all, the Baish family doesn't buy cheap things)

Lugar is a rather difficult character to explore due to his lack of visual emotions and closed-off personality, and therefore I rarely (almost never) portray his more intimate moments. This is how he looked for weeks, months even years after his family's death, and how he still is now, when no one is around to see.

It's funny that I draw him blond all the time, although he literally spends 2\3rds of the comic with his hair coloured black. (it's the first picture on my new tablet, by the way)

The Empire is quite cold during winters, even in the south, and Rint only has one jacket. How unwise! It seems that someone will soon have their new coat taken away...

I noticed I am completely unable to look at my old drawings without cringing - I see so many mistakes, I want to sit down and fix everything :D Brin and another one of his subordinates - Nadan. Brin is an insectator - The Enderer's analogue of our detective, only there people of this profession are brought up by the church, belong to the state and work to solve the bloodiest and most cruel cases that ordinary guards do not take over.
