[Al had been getting nightmares more and more lately, all of them about the would-be apocalypse. They were getting so common that they started to feel numb. This one felt...different though. Al was standing on the Nantucket Bridge, Wiley behind them weaving his spell. Al felt more aware than they normally do.]
@second-chances-are-hot
The very air seems to sing with anticipation, like a series of rests or percussion notes in the middle of a score. Al feels his heart beat, slightly out of time with the larger, thrumming time of the music.
Every time Al imagines the apocalypse, he becomes more disdainful of it. He grows distant from Wiggly's influence.
Something is filling the Void of Wiggog Y'Wrath's Absence.
speaking of costumes i enjoy. it's time
let's look at some pretty cute heathers costumes!
is it a little uniform-esque? yes absolutely. Is it *too* color-coded? yes, absolutely. even the HAIR is too matchy-matchy. however, they are pretty interesting with their collar accessories and i really like veronicas blazer. a lot.
its not the worst line up ever, and i actually really enjoy the fit of the blazers on all of them.
jds costume sucks tho. whats with the tie? and i always hate the leather coats. veronica is beautiful tho.

Everyone needs someone who allows them a way to love themselves.
Aja Gabel, The Ensemble
It’s been a long time…been thinking of restarting up spool’s ask blog…so here’s Ensemble!
The color of gloves for general wear should harmonize with the ensemble either by contrast or by matching the basic color, but the gloves themselves should not necessarily by the most prominent feature.... However, there are times when a gay glove may add a piquancy and charm to a carefully planned costume.
Gloves, like hats, have been banished from our closets except when they are strictly practical, and even then, we don’t always have the practical ones we need to protect us from the weather. But once gloves and hats were an essential element to most public fashion looks for women. As you see, Elizabeth Burris-Meyer who taught design at the School of Retailing at New York University in the 1930s advised practical color harmonies herself, but could not refrain from admitting that the “gay glove” might add the perfect touch. But what what color? Since blacks, beiges, browns, and greys were all common, what was it? A dusty pink? A pale green? A bright red? My mind flies around the color wheel not knowing where to land. This is from “The Ensemble” in her Color and Design in the Decorative Arts from 1935.
