Not gonna lie, it's kinda weird to watch these episodes again already knowing how it's gonna end. But it's still fun, and it makes me really want a third season of TGP - I'm going to miss it this year so much!
To watch The Final 14 again was interesting because I got to see a lot of talented people that I hope did not give up on their career after not getting in the show. And that's only a fraction of what Robert Ulrich must have seen. I mean, look at all these people:
It must be SO HARD to narrow it down to the final callbacks. Poor Robert. Tough job, dude.
I bet only a handful of people out of those gazillion were actually worth the trouble. Like Eric Siqueira being all adorable here:
Seriously, Eric looks so young with that haircut and all. And he makes me miss the Far and Away podcast real bad.
Speaking of Far and Away, I will never be able to watch this scene again and not think of this:
Now, let's see what some of the other contenders are up to. Here's Mario screaming WHERE'S THE BLIND GUY ON GLEE:
Here's Lily singing and saying "I have a better voice than all of those girls" (that's an actual quote):
Here's Abraham with his hair dyed the same color as his jacket:
And here's Blake saying his dream role on Glee would be the comedic character (I don't think Ryder is much of a comedic guy, although he does have some funny moments):
Now I'd like to point out some people that ended up getting cut at one point or another. Like farm boy Nick, who reminded me of this random dude from Pitch Perfect:
And Brege, who doesn't wanna be in her sister's (season 1 Marissa) shadow, but auditions for the very same show said sister is famous for:
Some people that I liked and wish had made it somehow:
Ultimately, I believe Ryan Murphy made the right choices and picked the best 14 people out there.
Then, Robert Skype calls everyone and the only thing I have to say about that is his office has a cool Glee globe (or whatever the heck that is) strategically placed on that corner of the table:
Lastly, we see the Edge of Glory music video and I guess the producers decided to make this video just to introduce the new contenders. In season 1, the first video they released was Firework, which already spoiled who the homework assignment winner was (Matheus) before we even knew there was gonna be a Homework Assignment to begin with. It's good to see that the producers learned from their little mistakes and made adjustments for season 2 to improved the show.
