TGP Rewatch: Glee-ality
This one is different than the others I've done. More meaningful.
Seeing everyone come back was awesome. I love how even though they had been gone for a while, they came back & the remaining contenders were thrilled to see everyone. That shows how close they all are.
I believe that "You Can't Stop The Beat" is one of my favorite HW Assignments EVER. It was so cute.
I think it's cool how they brought Damo back. But why not Sam, Alex, and Lindsay? I know, Sam was already back for Dance-ability, and Alex/Lindsay didn't win. But they all understand what being in the finals means. They all could have given the top three so much advice and whatnot.
The music video=fabulous. Everyone did great as their characters. Ali being a bitch was perfect. She did the best, in my opinion. Blake was so cool about his part, he played it well. And Aylin did really well, too, acting crazy & her facial expressions were perfect.
Ali's choice for her last chance performance was more than perfect. I mean, she killed it. No doubt. Dianna Agron looked satisfied all throughout it. She didn't just sing it, though, she acted it. Her decision to be a character definitely worked in her favor.
Blake did amazing. I love the song he chose, and he did it justice. He performed with heart and soul. And the poem, oh my goodness. The fact that he took time to write that means so much about him. And he had the nerve to say it in front of everyone. When I watched the finale the first time (when it aired), I cried during his poem. But I didn't this time, cause this time I payed more attention to how he said instead of what he said.
Aylin did amazing. Her voice is just outstanding. I've never heard anyone like her. But I think when she was given the chance to talk to the writers/Ryan/everyone else, if she had said the right things (I don't know what, but something a little more heart-felt), she would have won hands-down.
Seeing everyone react to Ali and Blake's performances made me so happy. I just, I don't know. Seeing people like Darren Criss and Grant Gustin talk about how great other people are made me happy. But I wish they had shown more people complimenting Aylin. But I loved seeing Charlie jump in. He loves her so much, and he's such a sweetie. I hope I find a guy who thinks about me like that. But anyway, him standing up for her was awesome.
I am really curious who Ryan had thought he was going to pick before he saw everyone perform and before he heard everyone else's opinions. I mean, it could have been any one of them. But I'm a little partial to think it was Ali, ONLY because he brought her back for the Valentine's Day episode of "Glee".
When they all came back & Ryan was like "Hi guys" to break the awkward silence made me laugh.
I can't/couldn't be happier with Blake winning. He truly deserved to win. He worked hard and showed how much he wanted it. When he said "I'm gonna be on Glee" I teared up. Because his dreams came true. And he looked so happy.
Also, I am so proud of everyone from that show. Look at how far they've come! Nellie and Michael have their band, Far and Away. Michael was in the Ross commercial, and on Disney Channel! Lily was JUST on Melissa & Joey. Maxfield was on Nashville. Dani and Ali are part of Be More Heroic, and are pursuing a relationship (which I think we all called, btw). Ali got to star in one episode of Glee. Shanna's in Nashville, producing music (and came to my school but you guys know that). Tyler moved to L.A., and now he's moved to New York. Taryn is still doing music.. Doesn't she have an EP or something like that in the works? I'm not entirely sure. Aylin, Lily, Nellie, Michael, and so many more all moved to L.A. to pursue their dreams. Abraham has some stuff in the works, that he's being really secretive about. And there's so much more with everyone.
I'm so glad I got to be a part of this fandom and experience this show. I love everyone involved with this show and the fandom that comes with it. Thank ya'll for everything.
