[ Super Nintendo Super Stream Pt.3 ]
The fire effect from The Firemen (1994) for the SNES.
It’s 64 frames long, and is just a single texture being warped by being scrolled back and forth line by line
TOTAL! #40, April 1995 - Review of 'The Firemen’ on the Super Nintendo, a game that came out in Europe and Japan, but not the US.
Cover artwork from the PAL release of the 1994 Human Entertainment, Super Nintendo title:
The Firemen / ザ・ファイヤーメン
A real gem of a title that largely went under the radar of most SNES owners in Europe and never got a North American release either. It’s sees you playing as two fire fighters, having to recuse people while trying to put out fires at the same time. Followed up by a sequel on the original PlayStation.

Read in my newest blogpost that Paul McCartney probably had the most versatile career of any former Beatle. His work includes pop and rock songs and more experimental electronic tracks such as the McCartney trilogy and The Firemen. He also performed live in front of audiences for many tears.
