do you like the velvet underground? lou reed solo? coney island baby? if yes to third option (though the first two are welcome prequisites), then you have heard (the title of) this song, which reed repeats at the tail end of the album during the final song, the title track.

my long-standing fondness of reed's music is what actually led me to my passion for doo wop - he was a big fan, and an album like this one stands to prove it. and in a solo career filled with overlooked gems, could coney island baby be the most underrated of all? if you haven't heard it, i would recommend it immediately - and then, of course, listen to some real good doo wop!
