Dean “tricking” Sam into post coital cuddling by telling him “No no not yet,” when Sam tries to pull out and before Sam can try again Dean readjusts himself to curl around his brother and plays with his hair until Sam falls asleep just like that. Deep inside the warmth and familiarity of his big brother and trapped in strong arms while his hair is pet, just like when he was a kid.
What Dean doesn’t know is that Sam planned on this. He knows it drives Dean crazy whenever he gets up and separates them as soon as he’s done, and he knew it wouldn’t be long before Dean pulled this move, the same one he’s always pulled when he wants to keep Sam close, or get him to sleep. It’s the best sleep Sam ever has.
