In the digital art department...
Middle Kingdoms readers will know that sometimes, if you run into the Goddess when She's wearing a cloak, you may spot something unusual about it. I've been chasing that effect for a long while, but the problem routinely has been that right out of the gate, it's tough to find a cloak that drapes correctly, or can be satisfactorily manipulated.
I think I may have found one. This, therefore, is a normal-light, no-SFX lighting test to establish a baseline to work out exactly how much jiggerypokery I''m going to need to go through in order to finally pull the effect in question off.
(...And yeah, some of you will remember there was no mention of Her relative lightness or darkness in the original print editions of the series... or what appeared was ambiguous. That (especially as regards The Door Into Fire) is something I've been pleased to repair in the newer editions. A little more background info about that is here.)
Emily Prentiss is a Goddess!
Is he stupid?
