(Little something for Amy's birthday.)
Amy woke up slowly, her eyes fluttering open to find that it was early in the morning, the sun shining through the window of her and Mark's room at the ego Inc. She and Mark had decided to stay the night with them, which they all were excited for, even Dark who pretends not to care. She yawns as she sits up, streatching when she noticed that the bed was empty. In fact she was the only one in the room.
As if on qew, their bedroom door opened revealing that it was Mark, holding a plate of pancakes. "Morning Amy." Whispered as he walked over to her with a big smile, kissing her cheek. "Happy birthday." He held the pancakes out to her.
She smiles as she takes the hotcakes. "Thank you." She said, as she picked up her fork. "But you didn't have to do this for me."
"Of course I did it's your birthday." Mark chuckled as he stood up, looking out the door. "Uh listen I got to head into town and um... grab some things but I'll be back in no time. I'm sure the others will entertain ya while I'm gone."
"Yeah I'm sure they will." She smiled as she gave Mark a kiss. "Be careful."
"I'm always careful." Mark scoffed, before looking around nervously, causing Amy to smile. "I love you." He whispered as he left the room.
"Love you too." She smiled, watching as Mark left, before going back to her breakfast.
After finishing her breakfast, she slipped on a yellow dress shirt, a pink bow tie and pink suspenders that connected to a tan skirt she was wearing, and to finish the outfit she wore a pair of black healed boots. She then picked up her plate and went for the kitchen.
When she made it to the kitchen, she found most of the egos hanging out, whispering amongst themselves, kind of oblivious to her at the moment, before she spoke.
"Morning boys!" She said, watching as they jumped turning to her in shock, before throwing on smiles.
"Morning Amy!" Wilford grinned, being the first to speak as he walked up to her. "Dare I say you look stunning in that outfit."
"Suck up." Bing whispered before turning away.
"I knew you would get a kick out of it." Amy grinned as she pat Wilford's shoulder. She then turned to Dark who was reading the news paper. "Morning Dark." She said as she pat his shoulder.
"Morning miss Nelson." Dark said coldly, drinking from his coffee.
She then placed her dirty plate in the sink and turned around, noticing that everyone was staring at her with big grins on their faces, besides Dark who was fipping through the pages of his news paper. "Uh... you guys alright?"
"Oh not to worry Amy dear." Wilford chuckled, wrapping his arm around her. "We are all swell right boys?"
They all nod their heads equally, their smiles only growing. Derek who was in the group nudged Eric's shoulder, motioning to Amy with his head, giving him a small smile.
Eric gave him a nod, before walking up to Amy, twirling his handkerchief in his hands, as he looked down nervously. "Uh um Amy I-I h-have a few b-blank canvasses and S-Some p-paint. W-Would y-you like to p-paint with me?" Asked, slowly looking up at her with nervous eyes.
She smiled at Eric's offer, she couldn't just say no to some one as sweet as him. "I'd love to Eric. Lead the way."
Eric gave her a nod, before walking down the hall, Amy following in suit.
"Have fun you two." Wilford chuckled, waving them off. He waited for a second to make sure she was gone before turning to the other egos. "Okay that will at least by us some time." Wilford said as they began to whisper.
A couple of hours past when Eric and Amy were finished painting. Amy grinned looking over at Eric who was covered in paint. "Th-thank you for joining me." He whispered, giving her a small smile.
"Of course Eric it was fun." She grinned before seeing the Googles, whispering to themselves.
"The decorations will be here in five minutes, we can't keep her painting all day." Green whispered.
"Hey guys." Amy said, watching as they jumped turning to her in shock before giving her a nervous grin, besides Google who just stared blankly. "What were you talking about?"
"Uh um we... we were uh-." Oliver grinned rubbing the back of his head.
"The Host enters the room and informs Amy that they had ordered something for Dark's next video and assures Amy it's nothing major."
Amy nod her head looking at the host. "Oh... well okay."
"The Host wants to know if Amy would like to spend some time with him and read."
Amy smiled and took the hosts hand. "I'd love that." She them helped him to his room/ library, unable to see the Googles sigh with relief.
After a while Amy noticed that all of the egos wanted to spend time with her. She noticed that Yan wanted to do her make up. Randal wanted her to help feed the pigeons while king wanted her to feed his squirrels. The list went on. She didn't have a problem with it, but she couldnt help but feel like she they were distracting her. But the question was from what?
Now Amy was walking down the hall, reading a message that Wilford sent her, telling her to come down stairs to the living room. This was her chance to get some answers. She made it into the living room finding it was completely dark, causing her to blink. "Guys... I'm here." She called out, but there was no answer. "I want to know what everyone was keeping away from me-."
"Suddenly the lights turned on, revealing that the room was covered in pink balloon and the egos were wearing party hats.
"SURPRISE!" They all shouted causing her to jump. "HAPPY BIRTH DAY!"
Amy was left in complete shock, before looking up to see Wilford walk up to her, putting a party cap on her head with a pink mustache on the top. "Happy birthday my dear." He grinned, giving her a wink.
Amy couldn't help but smile as she looked at everyone. "So this is what you were all hiding from me?"
"Do... do you l-like it?" Eric asked walking next to her, fiddling with his hands nervously.
She only smiled as she pulled the nervous ego into a hug. "I love it Eric." She then pulled Wilford into a hug. "Thank you boys."
"Anything for you Amy." Wilford whispered, hugging her back, before looking at the front door that swung open.
"Guys I'm back I-." Mark's smile wavered as he walked in, holding a small box, seeing the balloons and Amy in a party hat. "Are... are you guys throwing a suprise birthday for my girlfriend ... with out me?!"
"You would of ruined the suprise." Dark said glarring at Mark.
"W-wha!?" Mark gasped, looking at Dark in shock, but he felt a hand on his shoulder looking down to see Amy.
"It's okay Mark. I'm just glad you made it back." She smiled as she kissed his cheek.
Mark couldn't help but smile at her, before looking down at the small box he had. "Oh, I got this for-."
"Ah-ah-ah." Wilford said as he took the box. "Cake first. Present later you know the rules."
Mark huffed looking up at Wilford who grinned. "Since when were you one who followed rules."
Wilford only grinned as he put the gift with the other gifts.
"Ahem." Dark said, as he walked up with both hands behind his back, getting Amy's attention. He was hesitant before holding out a black rose. "For you. Miss Nelson, for this special day. For your special day."
Amy smiled as she took the rose, before looking at Dark, who was trying to keep as scowl. "Thank you Dark." She grinned as she leaned in and kissed his cheek, smiling at his shocked expression, before turning away.
Dark held a hand to his cheek, a small smirk forming in his lips as he walked away.
After they had cake they began opening presents. All of them giving her amazing gifts.
"Here you are dear." Wilford whispered handing her a pink back with a pink bow on top. "It's not much, but I thought you might like it.
Amy smiled as she took the bag and gently opened it up pulling out a pink globe, with a picture of her, Mark, and the egos all together in one photo. She couldn't help but smile. "This is beautiful Wil." She looked up at him and gave him a hug. "Thank you."
"Of course." Wilford smiled before looking at Mark. "Your turn Markimoo."
Amy turned to Mark, he held out the box to her.
"Took forever to get but... it was well worth it." He whispered, watching as she opened it.
Amy opened the box, to find a good necklace stare back at her. She lifted it up. "Mark it's... it's beautiful."
"Open It up." He grinned, looking down at the necklace.
Amy opened it up and gasped, finding four small pictures frames seeing their two dogs her and him.
"I filled them with our family's pictures. Mark explained. "There's you in this one, Henry and that one, Chicka and that one, and me in." Mark blinked looking at the picture, seeing that he had a pink mustache. "Very funny Wil."
"I'm sorry I'm sorry." Wilford chuckled as he snapped his fingers, fixing the picture.
Amy just smiled as she looked at the pictures, before looking at Mark. "Thank you so much Mark." She whispered as she gave him a kiss.
"Anything for you Amy." Mark then pulled her close, hugging her tightly. "Did you have a good birthday?"
"The best." She smiled, turning to everyone. "Thank you all so much for this. I love you guys."
"We love you too." Wilford smiled, patting her shoulder. "Happy birthday Amy."
