My thoughts:

After the first book with Robin and Zylas I just couldn't wait for a translation and got my hands on the english version of the ebook - I'll get the translation as well, simply because I want it really badly, but waiting until february wasn't an option lol

I loved this book just as much as the first one.

Robin and Zylas are still searching for her uncle (with some help of Robins cousin Amalia). They want the Grimoire he stole from her after her parenta death, hoping that it contains the secret to sending Zylas back to his world. While doing so they stumble into some Vampire problems. Zora, Felix' wife, is the best Vampire Hunter of the Crow and Hammer, so they work with her more often than they would like to.

Zylas growth throughout the book was slow but damn, this demon got my hard. Robin, I get it! I get it! I would fall for him, too! The way he tries so so hard to understand what empathy is and why it's important? It's an alien concept for him to care for others since he's from a world where killing one another is normal. When she asked him if he'd save a woman in the woods if he could and his first question/answer was "Is it a female demon? Yes? Then I'd eun before she sees me" broke my heart and made me laugh at the same time. Hello?? I need to see a female demon lmao

Vampires feeding on Demons and their bite totally knocking demons out is an interesting concept, too. The world is more balanced like this. Also, Valisii making a small callback to Zak? I loved that. Where's my boy at? What's he doing? I saw that there's a Druid-Spin-Off series, so he better be in it!

I've already jumped straight into the next book, until I remembered to log that I read this one lol

I think being a fan of InuYasha has awakened in me a craving for mythology series where it's always an adventure focusing on a human befriending/falling in love with a mythical person from the mythology. Doesn't matter what kind of media it is, if it's like InuYasha, I'm like "sign me up".

Like seriously, my favorite series aside from InuYasha are literally Kamisama Kiss, The Red Winter Trilogy, the Guild Codex: Demonized (not exactly mythology per se, but it's still a human x mythical person adventure series) and now I'm about to watch the Kdrama Tale of the Nine-Tails on Netflix. Literally InuYasha as a series has awakened in me a craving for the mythology fiction genre and I can't even be mad about it.
