Cuntz will be playing The Hemlock on the 16th with Life Stinks, Violence Creeps, and Uffizi. I believe it will also be the release show for the new Life Stinks record as well so don’t miss it.

The Hemlock 11/2/14
The Hemlock is a cool rock n roll bar/venue in Downtown SF. It's not too big. It's set up so that you can drink at the bar without paying to get into the back room where the shows are. There's a smoke room, which I personally enjoy a great deal. The people who frequent there are friendly and usually down to talk to a new face. The bartenders are friendly and the drinks are well priced. The only issue is that it IS very close to Tenderloin, so if you're unfamiliar with the area and you're a female walking by yourself at night, take a cab straight there, or back at least.
(Here's a brief side note for people unfamiliar with SF, Tenderloin is probably the worst area of the city but it's in a really central location that you need to get through to go places sometimes. There are homeless people overdosing on heroin sleeping on the sidewalks there. It's not scary mid day but be careful at night. I know someone who's been mugged and someone else who's been stabbed there. A man who was very clearly a pimp tried to get me to smoke crack with him in Tenderloin not too long ago.)
I've been there twice in the last five days and saw great music/had a great time both nights. Last night, Birdcloud and Unkle Funkle played. I believe they're both on Death Records. Birdcloud is a Nashville based two piece girl band that I vibed pretty hard with. Their music is a little country but the girls are definitely hardcore and love putting on a good show, dancing, and singing about their pussies. They're easy to talk to too.
Unkle Funkle is fun dance type music. He played that one song that's in Napoleon Dynamite. One person act. He's not really my type of music but I can appreciate what he's doing.
Anyways, go to the Hemlock if you can. They always have cool music going on but stay out of Tenderloin if you're not from around here. One more thing, Birdcloud is worth checking out.
Get your brain melted next Tuesday at The Hemlock w/ Life Stinks, Deaf Wish (aus), and Musk. Shit's gonna get loud.
