So you remember that final scene in The best of both worlds just before the dramatic cliffanger when we see Picard on the Borg Cube? So we later see the photo of it from the same angle in Star Trek: Picard (season 1), The Impossible Box.

That implies that either computer automatically saves transmissions from the main viewscreen and they can be acessed later and watched frame by frame or Riker went: "Mister Worf... Fire. But first, take a screenshot.".

Remember when Raffi had Cris who never told her that her emotions were wrong and that she needed to police them and was there to watch over her as she spiralled when few others (even Picard) noticed? Yeah, good times

So I went back and rewatched some of the scenes from “The Impossible Box” in the first season, and even there, Agnes Jurati seems more fascinated than frightened by the Borg. I think we’re dealing with a Borg groupie here.

It did. At least for the gentle, carnal hour Agnes spent in Rios’ arms.

He was wise enough not to talk; he let her stay in the moment, all touch, all consummation and basic instincts, allowing her to numb her racing thoughts.

She was ravenous and desperate. He made it all about her.

They sank between the sheets of his bed surrounded by mermaids. Agnes’ surprise at the figurines was brief - Rios was a man full of secrets, she knew that, and this was merely another one he wouldn’t reveal. The decor added to the surreal feeling of having this man - this enigmatic, reluctantly gorgeous spaceman - peel her out of her clothes with quiet care.
