Wow I'm officially obsessed now
I mean
Even the opening title is beautiful and masterful
Some of it is obvious parts of the plot - like the spaceship, the fish, the kraken
But other bits
Just like the prophecy's of Agnes nutter and so many other horrifically beautifully human things
Don't make sense until they do
Like the goose headed figure - the alien
Or the black knight
It's just absolutely wonderfully rich in detail and care
And don't get me started on the absolutely perfect perfect selection of queen songs
“What’s wrong, darling?” Aziraphale asks, moving to his side to face Crowley better. “I mean, that is, if there is anything wrong, what is it? May I be of any assistance to you?”
Crowley smiles slightly, so slightly that Aziraphale would miss it if he wasn’t looking for it.
“Nah, it’s just,” Crowley shrugs, and makes a noise somewhere between a grunt and a random assortment of consonants cobbled together, “today’s a weird gender day. I don’t know what pronouns I want to use.”
some catchy tunes, some nonbinary angst by Anonymous
Crowley shook his heads as the cat walked over to him, and he petted his head. “Cats are like one of those parents who go out for a cigarette and never come back,” he snarked.
“Oh, Anthony Jessica Crowley, I’ve had it up to here with your utter nonsense today,” she said teasingly. “Look at him,” she motioned at the cat, “he’s a big sweetie. And besides, that’s the fun of owning a cat, is living with a little arsehole that depends on you to survive.”
There was that bastard streak again. Crowley started cackling with laughter, and Ezera quietly joined in with him, though didn’t really seem to understand why he was laughing. “That’s a first time someone guessed ‘Jessica’ as my middle name,” he said. “You really are a weird one, angel.”

“It’s not cus he’s trying to be friendly, it’s cus he’s not a man, silly.” Said Pepper. And of course the baby social justice warrior would be onto him, why had he ever expected otherwise.
Brian looked Crowley up and down. “Of course he is.”
“Nu-uh, right Crowley?”
And damn his soft spot for children to somewhere and back, but apparently the universe was conspiring against him today so sod it.
“Right Pepper. Not a man.”
Terms of endearment by Ronile
He sighed, and tried again. “I don’t like that people assume we’re a couple, or that we’re going to become a couple. I don’t know why. Maybe because… it invalidates the way we’re friends? As in, the way we’ve constructed our friendship?”
Crowley hummed, both agreement and encouragement.
“And it’s like… I don’t want people to say things like that, and then them – or you – assume things about my intent. And I don’t want to be shoehorned into being something I’m not, or… I don’t know. I just… I don’t know.” Aziraphale sighed again. “What about you?”

"Crowley," Aziraphale said, offering his hand to shake. "I'm Aziraphale."
One eyebrow arched over the rim of those dark sunglasses. "You got the chance to pick your own name, and that's the one you went with?"
"Well, I decided on it when I was fourteen and obsessed with angelology," Aziraphale said, shrugging. "I'm afraid it rather stuck.”
