Introducing... Tom! Tom is one of the main characters in my upcoming graphic novel, The Innovators! Tom is inspired by a robot that used to be at Disneyland, named Tom Morrow. He was originally created to be a furry version of the original Tom and looked significantly different from how he looks today. However, as I kept updating his design and making it more cohesive, he became unique and a character of his own. (However, he does still retain some key aspects of the original Tom Morrow!) Despite being based on Disneyland’s version of Tom, in the comic, he takes the place of Disney World’s version of Tom. (Who was bit different.)
In my comic, Tom is an android hyena who was created to act as a host and presenter for Innoventions. He is very friendly, social and a great public speaker. He can also be a bit eccentric, flamboyant and self absorbed, which sometimes gets on other people’s nerves. However, Tom loves others just as much as he loves himself and will go great lengths to make other people feel special. He is often treated as the leader of all the characters in Innoventions and is Lendel’s best friend. Tom is also good friends with Mckenzie. He considers his coworkers family. Tom loves colorful suits and ties and takes great care in maintaining his appearance. He also has an interest in 80s and 90s tech and enjoys repairing old tech in his free time. Despite being an android, he can eat. He loves anything sweet, but especially strawberry flavored things!
I plan on adding on to his ref sheet someday, but for now, this is ok! :)
