#hi can we talk about how ilya is looking at both yuna and david but he's mainly keeping an eye on david. he's used to the father being the man of the house and fearing his own father but its also a russian custom that there is a deep-seated respect of authority and how intensely protectiveness fathers are, so he's almost nervous to be around david and how he would be perceived by david. fathers in general are vastly powerful in russian families (at least that's the case for me) i wouldn't say he's AFRAID of David but he's just nervous to be around david. he wants the approval from David basically and to be safe in his presence
