i hate how it isnt discussed more how claustrophic nico must have been after the jar. i mean ive only ever seen it ONCE, in a fanfiction ive since lost to time.

that jar was SMALL. im pretty sure it's always stated that he's curled up, making HIMSELF small so he can fit inside the jar at all. maybe then a little extra room so he doesnt squish his pomegranate seeds under his ass. maybe.

another part in claustrophobia is fear of not having enough air in such a small space. the jar was not only sealed, but filled with noxious gas, that percy stated he was feeling the effects of after only a minute or two while he was in a DREAM. it would have killed nico far quicker than starvation would have if not for his death trance.

and if it werent obvious enough, the overarching threat of death over this whole experience. not even just the suffocation and starvation inside the jar, which is bad enough, but the threat of the giants even if he managed to escape the jar.

with all of these factors, how could he ever stand small spaces again? if yall have ANY content on this i will owe you my heart and soul cause idk how this take isnt more prevalent.
