Arriv’d very Late Saturday & met with much Excitement & Merriment. Our Compatriots already evidently quite deep in their Cups we arriv’d on the Scene to the Men all wearing Mob-Caps in the latest Fashion. I reckon’d they made finer Ladies than even the Ladies themselves with all Respect where it is due. Had some good Musick & Revelry. I very drunk off merely two Drinks recogniz’d I had no desire to finish that one H—— offer’d to Split with me & the Corporal reliev’d me forthwith of that Burden without so much as a Word utter’d. H—— the poor Lad receiv’d some unfortunate News regarding the Lady of his most recent Affections she reveal’d herself to be of a duplicitous Character. In natural Consequence we drank instead. Recover’d in Spirits he was soon deprived of his Shirt & soon after hoist’d S—— into the Parade Ground & lustily deposit’d him into a Snow-Bank.

Be careful with what you read on here. It’s easy to start believing that sex has to be wild and that love should look a certain way to be considered ‘perfect,’ that a relationship has to follow some ideal script to be valid…

Nah.

Every couple is different. Every dynamic is unique. You’ll build yours with your person. And please, don’t romanticize everything you see online.

Love is messy and complicated. It’s beautiful and ugly.

And sex doesn’t have to be performative or kinky to be good. Sometimes it’s slow, sometimes passionate, sometimes wild and violent as hell, sometimes really lame, very quick, or it sends you straight to the ER (trust me on that last one 😂).

Loving someone is one thing, living with someone is another.

And after ten years with your partner, things are different in a thousand ways. But never convince yourself that your relationship isn’t “enough” or “perfect” because of what you read here.

Also, half the people on this app barely fuck, so… 😘
