Absolutely enticing text with the conversations about judgments lately
i know for a fact that the last statement is false....
Something I've also been thinking about in relation to judgements is how they break their own rules so frequently only to benefit themselves, like the mountain of light, etc.
oh ABSOLUTELY. The judgments are petty inconsiderate bastards who only care about themselves, and they are also incredible hypocrites. they are extremely petty, and extremely flawed.
and i mean, well, just look at Wines.
There's really something to me about how often myths were descriptions of forces of nature personified, and how in the flondon universe, the judgments themselves could be viewed be viewed in the same way: as the embodiments of forces of nature/the laws of the universe...
... with the twist that those laws of the universe only exist because the judgments made them. The rules of the universe only there because the beings enforce them for their own gain.
That the very concept of 'the force of nature' is artifical in its own way... death is ruling decided upon, time is tangability enforced. What does that mean, as a lens of viewing the very concepts?
To me the judgments have always felt in the same vein as beings like the Greek Gods.
Unknowable concepts of forces of nature beyond human grasp, but still with human levels of pettiness and drama, and capable of taking on human like avatars of presentation.
The Judgments: You know what the Great Chain is? It's the chain I go get and beat you with 'til you understand who's the ruttin' Greatest here!
