Robert Surcouf sur le Hasard by Alfred Jean-Marie Paris.

Robert Surcouf was a French corsair who is most famous for capturing a much larger English ship, the Kent. He did a lot of other audacious things and became a wealthy man. He was inducted into the Legion of Honor by Napoleon.
