okay never mind she was into it. i’m still losing my shit over here
hello april i just saw you reblog that the killing post and i've never seen that show but i've watched altered carbon last week and i really liked joel kinnaman in that so when i saw him in thaat gifset i was like eye emoji so pls tell me if and why i should watch the killing pls and thanks
omg fiona i literally don’t even know where to start with this show but YES PLEASE YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT!
it’s so raw and gritty and just the way it’s filmed, it’s brilliant. and obviously you have now seen the light with joel kinnaman. the killing is where i first saw him and now i’m like ‘oh joel’s in it guess i have to watch’. but like mireille enos who plays holder’s (joel) partner linden in the show blew me away every episode.
they are both so messy and they spiral at times. lots and lots of personal and family issues but i don’t want to spoil anything, but i will say you can’t not love them as characters and as partners with the relationship they build. plus they start out kind of hating each other because they are practically complete opposites so you know enemies to friends to......
outside of just that though the cases they work are dark and intricate and just twisted enough. they definitely kept me guessing. and to top it all off it’s only 44 episodes in the whole series. now is that a total shame because i wish there had been more seasons? OBVIOUSLY! but that also means it didn’t overstay it’s welcome like most shows. i got to love it from beginning to end. which honestly i was pretty content with the ending, and these days that’s a rare occurrence. oh! and really great guest stars!
so i’m begging you to check it out and give me all your thoughts.
gosdhflñfjs after rewatching the killing i finally got to the the last episode and it’s so perfect, a fucking whirlwind of emotions and i love holder and linden so much .. dsfklj like im glad we didnt see them kiss, a relationship shoved into our faces, although everybody and them knew how much they loved and cared for one another... it’s nice to have the rest of their lives to be part of what each of us have made of them, but at the same time i just want to know everything and i want to see them together ;__; aaah those final scenes, so sweet so good so very them, can i watch the last episode again and again??
so what happened to Rick?does he just not care anymore?are he and Linden just done?
I don't care
BULLET STILL EXISTS WITHIN ANY CHARACTER SHE PLAYS
IM NOT SORRY
Am I the only one watching The Killing?
