Hi! I'm Seal. I've been on Tumblr since 2015 and I have remade TWICE. but never again. This is my main blog, but I have a personal/art blog @fungi-maestro . Check it out if you want to see posts by me, comics, art, and photos I take. Info about ME and this blog under the cut.

An interview with the creature that created our favorite robots. (Dialogue transcript under the cut)

(Note: this character is from IZTNC and doesn't really make sense if you aren't aware of all the lore surrounding it. TLDR: it's an annoying godlike entity that is obsessed with mad science and knowledge.)

Narrator: The Learned Science corner (With him! The Learned!)

The Learned: good afternoon! Today we will be discussing synthetic humans, which are colloquially known as androids. Now, this isn't something your human mind will be able to comprehend, so I'll try to explain it as best I can.

As I'm sure you are all aware, the creation of an android begins with one of your human souls. My scientists are working around the clock to make synthetic ones, but we haven't quite cracked that yet. I usually go to a different universe and take one from people I don't like... Store bought is fine.

Be careful! Harvested souls can retain behaviors from their previous life! They typically will not keep memories, but habits and tendencies stick. It can be particularly irritating to try and remove them. I've found that layering memories and personality traits can mask these imprints, but it can be unpredictable. In some cases, it can exacerbate the problem to an extreme degree.

Once the memories are programmed and the soul is attached, you move on to the body. Synthetic humans are, obviously, meant to mimic humans. Only better, of course.

A series of tubes and vessels allow my own proprietary substance to flow throughout them, carrying energy to their systems and aiding in temperature regulation. They can handle more extremes, but still have ideal operating conditions.

I haven't quite managed to create self-healing models, so for now they still need regular maintenance. Some of them have upgrades that others do not, but at their core they are rather simple. To me, at least.

Anyway, that's all I can say without giving away my secrets. They are very much like you, in terms of anything that isn't physical.

At the end of the day, they are unique creations with personalities that are every much their own. And very fascinating to observe.
