"Well, since you two kindly offered.." They cracked a smirk before they began going down the stairs to come face-to-face with Larry. "I insist."
Moments later, the janitor audibly squealed as his eye sparkled and his fists vibrated out of pure excitement.
"Yay!!! It's gonna be so much fun getting to know you, Clay!!!" He grinned.
Cyrus felt their upper eyelid start to sweat a little, knowing full well that their efforts to conceal their identity to the best of their ability would come to bite them later in the near future. Just like how it did when they met Thomas..
And so, with a hesitant nod and a much more forced smirk on their face, they responded back:
".. Same to you."
Thomas smiled at Larry’s excitement. “Alright, we’ve held up your dinner long enough,” he lightheartedly said to him. “Let’s go!”
However, Thomas was also a bit hesitant. He hoped nothing bad would come of this. He knew Cyrus wouldn’t betray him again and bring harm to Larry. They wouldn’t do that, right? And as long as Larry never finds out they’re a Glornist, it should be chill. Right? And Cyrus is pretty good about keeping their Glornist life separate from their other affairs, so the other Glornists will probably never find out about this hangout, right!?
Even though he worked himself into a nervous tizzy, Thomas still wanted to see this through. “Again, I-I’ll be following right behind,” he said as he turned invisible in order to traverse the Skullship halls unseen.
