Are you late for a very important date?
Will we see you at The Unbrunch this weekend?! Since we first posted about it, we’ve heard really good news and seen some exciting buzz about this immersive experience full of Sleep No More cast past and present (and a bunch of other Broadway and film folks)!
Discounted tickets on standard reservations ($69-85 tix on a $125 ticket) are available right now on Today Tix, including the one this very weekend, December 5th, at 11am. YOU SHOULD GO! That’s like 1/2 the cost of a ticket to Sleep No More--just saying!
If you aren’t following The Unbrunch on Instagram, check out the many teaser videos and cast promos. It’s a pretty stellar lineup including (based on public social media posts--no spoilers here, but under the break in case you want to be surprised):

The Lost Supper
I don’t want to say too much, as part of the fun of the evening is the quirky surprises. I enjoyed it, and had a smile on my face much of the time. There is a low ratio of performers to audience members, which makes for a lot of little interactions throughout the evening. No 1:1s, but you don’t feel like you are in a large group. The dinner feels much more personal than many other events I’ve been to in that space.
The food was great (I had the duck,) although if you have dietary issues, I would definitely pull one of the wait staff aside and quietly remind them. They mixed up one of my dishes, which is not fun.
All in all--I recommend it. I would probably try to go during the week, as opposed to the higher priced weekend tickets, but I thought the creative staff at the McKittrick did a lovely job putting the dinner together. The performances, the set, the costumes, etc...are all first rate.
Some (kind of crappy) pictures of The Lost Supper.
My favorite part of The Lost Supper
was because my friends bought their tickets separately from mine, and we both wrote to the concierge asking to be seated together, they somehow messed up my name and came up with a name that was a mixture of my friends’ names (they took that girl’s 1st name as my 1st name, and the guy’s 1st name as my last name, only with the 1st letter replaced with the 1st letter of their last name...) I freaked out when they couldn’t find my order. But once I figured out what happened, I was not exactly offended. I thought it made perfect sense to go to a surrealism party with a fake name.
Do you like The Lost Supper?
I haven’t been. I am still hoping to go, but I am currently rehearsing for a show that is getting ready to open in a few weeks. I have a few nights that I am not currently called for rehearsal, but I’ve been told to keep them free.
If I end up not having to go, i will scramble to try to find last minute tickets to The Lost Supper, but I am starting to lose hope that I will be able to get there.
The Lost Supper
Go see The Lost Supper at The Attic. It is amazing. To be totally honest, we were both on the fence about the cost but it is totally worth the money. Lily Ockwell has created a beautiful, superbly entertaining experience that is totally McKittrick-y.
We have some photos that we won’t be posting until the run is over because we don’t want to ruin the experience for others. It looks like the dinner has been extended for another week but tickets are going fast so book now!
