He was a teenager, he blinked and was suddenly nearing 30 years old.

Its not just an endearing sentiment when Nott says she is his parent, she can actually recognize the disconnection in him.

Despite his trauma, his conscious mind is like someone during their first year of college, JUST entering the mindset of young adulthood.
