T minus 5 days until my midterm period is over, and I can take a breather and get back to writing. Words can't express how much I want to get back to the near 20k behemoth that is Mirrorball's final chapter (or, well, chapters, since I'll likely split them for convenience, but since I'll post both at the same time, it's not much of a difference) for editing. Some ideas and concerns have popped into my head over some scenes, and I'm itching to revisit it all. Now, if only I could just time-travel to when I wasn't bogged down with hundreds of pages of academic readings...

#schoolschoolschool #long essay midterms are the worst #because you have to remember the titles and authors of every paper discussed #as well as the research question #the methodology #the findings #the theories utilized if applicable #and often are required to have some key quotes memorized #and my brain is the worst with names and titles #Like #I've forgotten good friend's names sometimes #and it usually takes me about 2 to 3 weeks to have someone's name down #whereas I'll never forget a face and could spot anyone who attended any grade school with me easily even if I never taked to them #my brain is weird #and it's not suited to memorizing fine details of 933 pages of academic readings for whatever mystery essay question the prof will provide u #us to answer #Gimme short answer and multiple choice any day of the week :P #or short essay (which is usually pretty great)
