I always wanted to take notes in a fancy notebook. I got a notebook, not a fancy one, because most of the fancy once aren't refillable and my brain wants a refillable one, idk why; And I wrote stuff down, but I wasn't happy. I wanted it to be organised right from the start. Well spoiler alert: I missed the goal by far. I tried to rearrange it once, twice.. never perfect.

Today, YouTube fed me with this guy. Never heard of "commonplace books", but the idea is just brilliant. As odd as it may sound right now. Go watch the video, it's not long, so you know what I'm talking about.

Here is my point. I wanted to write something else here, but suddenly point 3 struck me: Reflect. I'm a more or less perfectionist. Maybe someone needed to tell me, that commonplace books first of all exist and the structure is "no structure". Like, this kind of structure is perfect for this type of book. Let's say, without saying anything with a truth value, a structured commonplace book is not a commonplace book, because the only structure of a commonplace book is chronologically. There is no structure like themes, topics, etc. This book starts from Day 1 and ends with the last word on the last page, whenever this might be. And this is the perfect commonplace book.
