The Misunderstood - I Can Take You To The Sun (1966)

Unquestionably one of the greatest psychedelic songs ever recorded. If ever there was a band before its time, it was the Misunderstood. Obviously influenced by the Yardbirds, they pushed the psych sound even farther (to the sun?) You'd be forgiven for thinking the Misunderstood were British, but they started off in Riverside, CA before moving to Britain, and unfortunately imploding later on.
