Card 4 of the tua tarot: The Emperor. I was honestly in between drawing Hargreeves or Carmichael because of the commission motives of the last cards but it just felt wrong.

Tried to keep the "Thank god we didn't inherit those cold dead eyes!" quote in mind, although he does have a very neat style, Colm Feore is too powerful.

in reality she has been happily married to another man for the past fifty years. she has kids who look like her but not him, and her face is full of wrinkles but her eyes look the same. it was through his fault that he pushed grace away, and now she exists in a life he could never have been apart of. the memoriam he built of her is who she used to be, when he had her, but the grace she is now is someone his nannybot could never emulate.

i wonder what’ll hurt the umbrella academy kids more in season three: the fact that reginald avoided adopting them altogether because they'd left that bad of a first impression on him, or the revelation that he was possibly a kind and caring father to the sparrow academy kids, therefore making it known that he always had it in him to be a good father figure and just didn't want to make an effort to love them
