The urge to work more on the zine im making vs the urge to finish the crovhet project ive had going for months: fight

#i made a butt load of progress on the zine- sketched it all out figured out dimensions settled on the design on the pov character #and then i went hard on crochet #finished the partial ball of yarn i had going and then wound the last two skeins in three ish hours (by hand) and then #Already Used One Up in a day and a half. im on the last one now and its gonna be a lil yarn chicken to see if i can make it to the end #and i so badly want to finish the project (its the wings im making) but i also want to get the zine lined more before it gets too far into #the month #since its my first month-long project. i want to keep pace and have it finished by the end if the month #GASP. ITS THE PERFECT VALENTINES THING ACTUALLY. YES. im for sure gonna put this up to buy for valentines #augh. physical craft vs digitial art. i love both

#need to get nicer daylight pics but im saving that till theyre all finished #still need to finish slevin & mara but liek so far the main quad is basically done . im sure ill keep tinkering but yk #modeled roughly off these little stray dogs darunui plush keychain things i have #idk . its been fun obsessing over these although it has not been a pleasant month #without getting too into it bc i dont need to like Blog my life or anything but i experienced a sudden bereavement at the beginning of #the month #things have been very painful and ive never like. ..lost anyone before let alone someone immediately close to me #AGAIN NOT TO BLOG but its weird bc its consumed like everything every day but ive been able to do handcrafts like obsessively somehow #handcrafts & be w my friends #art tag #oc tag #me & michaels have gotten very close over the last two weeks
