I have been warned about Twitter, what a mess it is - but I recently wandered there as I was interested in finding out possible news about this quaint little TV show I have recently become quite enamoured with...

And oh boy, it is something for sure! 😲

On one hand it seems so mundane - lots of absolutely meaningless chatter (except for those who make it - and apologies for them, I’m sure it is all very important for them and their contacts, but for the others who come across them, not so). And then on another, so... negative, accusatory, preaching, insulting and straight-on intrusive. How people don't seem to think anything about tagging sometimes quite controversial posts with the actual people they are about, blows my mind! 😬

If everyone had to use their real full name and not hide behind cutesy usernames, I wonder if that would make it better? If celebrities and well-known individuals were not on it with their real name, and it would be more Tumblr-like ‘(almost) everyone anonymous’, would that make it better?

Anyway, it seems that almost anything that is useful there will end up posted on Tumblr anyway, so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
