The hiliker brothers, sister and brother reaction to Walking in and seeing you dancing and singing to numb by neffex
Adding together as they’re similar questions! ;D

Music is nothing new to this family of cannibals, they have witnessed victims dancing to it and singing along with music whilst they are being unknowingly hunted.
Each of the three boys and the twins have their different feelings towards music.
His face says it all, he thinks you are being stupid and doesn’t get why you’re flailing around like a fool to some headache of a song. This big grump is just going to give you one look and then walk away, no amount of coaxing him with your smile and come-hither eyes is going to convince him to get close to you while you're singing your lungs out and moving around like that.
His eyes will watch your swaying hips for a bit longer than normal before he leaves you alone to do...whatever it is you’re doing. Blast the music too loud though and it’s all being smashed to pieces.
Don’t ask him what he thinks about the song, he won’t respond as he doesn’t find the topic interesting enough to be worth his time, all music pretty much sounds the same to him so he hasn’t much of an opinion on them.
When this big doofus spotted you swaying around and shaking your body to the sound of the fun, bouncy music he did not hesitate to make his way over to you and grab your hands so you both were dancing to the music, he didn’t care for the song he simply just enjoyed having fun with you, seeing you smile and sing was always a delight.
He was no dancer that’s for sure, more swayed and had you lead him around in circles or from side to side, letting out deep breathy snorts that were meant to be laughter.
If asked how he felt about the song, he wouldn’t know how to answer, more just shrug and tilt his head, music was just sound to him that sometimes made you feel good and it meant catching you in the act of being fun and silly.
If you wanted to explain how the song made you feel, he would listen but don’t expect him to understand.
He has been watching you from the very start, hidden and enjoying seeing you move around, singing to your little heart's content, it was amusing and Three-Fingers only really found watching what you did more fun than whatever it was you were listening too.
He will eventually join you with your dancing, he enjoyed fun and messing around and like his older brother One-Eye he was not a dancer at all, he knew how to sway and slow dance in a simple way but don’t expect this little goblin of a man to put out the moves, or at least if he did it would end with someone getting accidentally bruised.
Again, like his brothers, he didn’t care about the music, he didn’t have much interest in it but would listen to whatever he enjoyed, which seemed to be more classical or instrumental music than whatever it was you were listening to.
If you wanted to talk to him about the song and how it made you feel, he may pretend to listen and let you yammer on while he did something else.
Surprisingly Sister has an appreciation towards music, a more intellectual one compared to her brother and uncles, who just hear music and either don’t care or just dance cause there is sound.
She definitely has likes and dislikes to her music, she keeps a lot of victims old chunky iPods.
She has a few favourite songs from the 90s, which are mostly romance songs like ‘Kiss from a Rose’ by Seal, ‘Frozen’ by Madonna and a secret one she doesn’t let many know ‘Man, I feel like a Woman’ by Shania Twain, there are many more she’ll listen to so when you came into their messed up lives and started introduced more music.
She was thrilled, even if she did not want to show she was.
Dancing though, this cannibal girl was much too shy for that and was definitely not going to show she was shy, so instead when she catches you dancing around so foolishly and trying to coax her to do the same, she just scrunches up her face and stays a distance, it was much too embarrassing to dance, what if Brother caught her? What if Pa caught her!? No, she had too much pride.
So instead she would wait until you stopped so you could just let her listen to these two new songs at her own pace, she enjoyed them for their beat and words, enjoying the Charlie Hanson version more, which you had kindly explained what it was about.
Usually if you were doing something fun like dancing and singing, Brother wanted in on it.
He was a playful young man who enjoyed getting up to no good or just having a good time being young and stupid. So when he catches you doing it alone and without him he is already sliding in to grab you around the waist and bounces you around to the music, all smiles and snorting laughs. He enjoys music that have a beat to it, makes his body want to move and shake, he is definitely not a dancer, you having learned that the hard way with how much he has bruised you by knocking into you or stepping on your feet and oh he sure was not a singer, if you call screaming and yelling singing.
He didn’t have that much appreciation for music other than it made him move and he knew you liked it which made him like it by default. He didn’t understand the words, what they meant and he didn’t care for the singers, he just wanted to move with you. You could try to explain to him the two differences but it will just go through one ear and out the other as all this boy cares about is putting his hands all up in your business.
You will just have to accept not being able to dance freely with having this young cannibal wrapped around you like a ribbon.
