I'm going to the theatre tonight with my mom -for Mother's Day I got her two tickets (assuming she'd take me... not selfish in the slightest.. ahem..) to see a play called Noise. It is about five young people going off to university, one of whom is deaf, and it focuses on his experience. It uses sign language, obviously, (which me and my mom both know, well we are at a rusty out of practice level 2) so it should be good to refresh us. There will be an interpreter on stage as well, so if we are worse than we think we'll still be able to follow what's going on. I'm looking forward to it, and am kinda nervous at the same time. I feel a bit fluttery inside. Not going to take any diazepam though, cause I need to stay sharp and have my wits about me if I'm gonna keep up. I hope I don't freak out with the crowds in town.
